We chose the Boer breed for a number of reasons.
Boers are one of the first breeds developed exclusively
for meat production. They are a stocky, muscular
animal with rapid and steady weight gain. Twins are the
norm, with triplets as a regular occurrence.
Boers are gentle and easy to raise. They are not
nervous or flighty like many other breeds.
Our goats are raised in a healthy, humane environment
and given all necessary immunizations and
supplementation to ensure they reach their natural
growth potential.
We sell goats for breeding purposes or for meat, at the
same flat rate. Meat goats are sold off the farm or we
will deliver to Thomas Brothers Meat Processing in
Wilkesboro, NC for an additional $20 fee.
